Who is stronger? The Sun and the Wind are arguing.

They see a man and set the rules: whoever gets the man to take off his coat wins.

The Wind blows hard at the man. The man holds his coat tight. The Wind fails.

The Sun shines at the man. The man feels hot and takes off his coat. The Sun wins!

Who is stronger?

谁更强？

The Sun and the Wind are arguing.

太阳和清风正在争论。

arguing的原型是argue。

They see a man and set the rules:

他们看见一个男人，定下了比赛规则。

whoever gets the man to take off his coat wins.

不论是谁 whoever，能让男人脱下外套，谁便赢。

再给几个例子：

whoever gets 10 points first wins

whoever 不论是谁，

gets 10 points first 首先拿到十分，

wins 赢。

再来：

whoever laughs first loses

whoever 不论是谁，laughs first 先笑出来，loses 输。

另外注意：

是赢，差别在于有没有d'结尾。

The Wind blows hard at the man.

清风使劲地喷那个男人。

The man holds his coat tight.

那个男人紧紧地拽住外套。

The Wind fails.

清风失败了。

The Sun shines at the man.

太阳的阳光照耀这男人。

The man feels hot and takes off his coat.

男人觉得热，便自己脱下了外套。
